MATT FRANTZ: A PLACE WHERE TIME HAS NO MEANING: DESCRIPTION
This is an instrumental CD. The name is in reference to the way time passing with the right hemisphere of our brain becomes dominant and the left hemisphere loses the ability to track the passing of time. This music is design to facilitate that transition. The sound crosses styles, but could best best classified as a blend of ambient soundscape mood music and psychedelic industrial drone. This is hard to describe! What can be said about a CD that has an acoustic 12 string guitar being played through a distortion pedal with a wah-wah filter one moment then gradually mutates until the sound is composed of a gentle feedback from a flute being played through a microphone with too much reverb? This CD is new, and no reviews have been received yet. They will be posted as they come in, but in the meantime, listen to the MP3 sound samples and hear for yourself.
