MISSION STATEMENT: WHAT THE NAME INDEPENDENT OPPOSITION MEANS Independent Opposition strives to provide intellectual, heroic, and pioneering music to those who have an appreciation for art outside the scope of popular culture. The name Independent Opposition is representative of the attitudes of the musicians involved in the recordings. They are unwilling to wait, beg, or change for acceptance. Independent of outside consensus, these recordings exist in opposition to silence that comes from being denied by those with hidden agendas based on greed and fear. Independent Opposition releases are currently available only through this website and a select few retailers. I.O. also offers a few releases published by other like-minded companies. By ordering from I.O., you are supporting independent, underground music & making future publishing of audio explorations possible. For more information, consult the New Testament book of Ephesians, chapter 6, verses 10-17. |
